The app seems expensive but is much cheaper than alternative options. Generally tutors range anywhere from £25-45 an hour in the UK. |

We have been really impressed by the KidSmart app overall. It is one of the only learning apps that we have come across that is based strongly in knowledge rather than having the game as the main draw – and it’s exactly what we need as the children move up through Primary School. |

The app is an attractive option as it’s a data driven way to prepare for exams like the 11 plus exam... have also provided a series of free practice papers on the website. |

Syd has played the app every night since – at her request. That, for me speaks volumes. In my opinion, if kids are happier to engage and learn via a tablet, let them! This app does just that! |

We’ve only been testing the app for a week or so but so far it’s been really good for my 5-year-old. She’s enjoying playing on the app and the different games seem to challenge her and entertain her at the same time. They’re all short and quick meaning they keep kids focussed and I think it’s great that the games are mixed – a quick grammar game, then a bit of vocabulary, then some math and so on. |

KidSmart is an easy to use app, both for kids and parents. We really liked how comprehensive it is, and it has a great balance of in depth learning, fun, and motivation for the kids with the real world reward system. |

Seeing what’s waiting for them periodically helps to keep them focused and motivated by setting a monthly target and prize. |

The research has shown that practicing questions on a topic before learning it, results into faster learning, stronger memory and increased retention rate.
Spacing the learning over multiple days enforces learning and results into better retention without needing to memorize. Repeat learning every 3-4 days.
Interleaving enhances the ability to apply the right approach for a given problem. Research has suggested that this is very effective method for subjects like Maths.
The tutor support is avaiable to both parents and children anytime during the day. You never have to wait for asking questions, clarifications and progression discussions.
